Some encouragement has been obtained from the Tonala and Katili area but elsewhere the results have been so low as to completely negate the ares potential for large dredging propositions.
Work undertaken has incluced 834 meters of pitting, 1164 meters of hand bangka drilling, 315 meters of hand auger drilling, 833 meters of mecca bangka drilling and 28 kilometers of line covered by resistivity survey.
